Providing essential communications support on a whole range of activities, from planning, and creating compelling materials, through to deployment and measuring their effectivenessLCTS supports some of the most dynamic parts of BP, including our Alternative Energy business, group-wide technology activities, the Safety & Operational Risk function, and an overarching remit for group-level low carbon activity.

• As an able communications professional, youll identify the business drivers at play, and help formulate effective communications plans that support those objectives• Youll manage a variety of concurrent deliverables on behalf of different clients, keeping things on track, on budget, and maintaining the high standards we expect• Youll be writing and creating compelling materials, targeting audiences with information they want and need, taking sometimes technical and complex information and presenting it in succinct and understandable format• Channels wise, youll add a mix of the old with the new:-Familiar with the fundamentals, such as drafting executive notes, HTML emails, content management systems, and what it takes for a webcast to hundreds of employees to run smoothly-Alongside a thirst and interest in exploring and adopting new digital approaches, through creative video production and imaginative story-telling• Youll harness the potential of social media, both internally and externally, enhancing our reputation, while promoting employee advocacy and engagement• Youll work with a range of vendors and partners, from PR consultancies and video production companies, through to event organisers and design agencies• Youll demonstrate how communications is contributing and performing, evaluating data, metrics and measurement to provide reports and dashboards against key performance indicators
