The licences include the Tortue field, estimated to contain up to 15 Tcf of discovered gas resource, and the total licence position could contain as much as 50 Tcf of gas resource potential.

The first phase in the Tortue development is Phase 1, has entered Execute with an expected first gas target of early 2022. Phase 2/3 represent the subsequent stages of development of the Tortue reservoir. Phase 2/3 entered Optimise in February 2019 with an expected first gas target date of 18-24months following Phase 1. The current concept assumes 2 large offshore gas and condensate processing structures (delivering 600MMscfd each) tied back to gas pre-treatment and liquefaction facilities located at the Hub.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Pretreatment, LNG & Utilities, the role is a senior technical position expected to cover all scopes of Tortue Phase 2/3, with particular focus on the LNG scope where the major Mechanical Rotating Equipment scope resides.
